We would like to invite you to the Security & Infrastructure Day 2025 conference, where we will focus on current topics that are increasingly resonating on the market.
You will learn how to prepare your IT for the cybersecurity threats of this time.
We will look forward to seeing you on 27th of November from 8:45 a.m. in the premises
Agenda:

8:45 – 9:30   Registration I breakfast

9:30 – 9:40   Welcome speech; Michael Paier, SVP and Regional Director, NTT DATA & Adam Berdár, Sales Director, NTT DATA

9:40 – 9:50   The Future of Cybersecurity and Infrastructure; Lukáš Jelínek, Senior Director GTM, NTT DATA

9:50 – 10:10  The quantum future begins today; Ondřej Král, IBM
Presentation of the current possibilities of quantum computers, when companies can gain a real competitive advantage, and vice versa, what threats arise from their development. An overview of the quantum ecosystem and activities in the world and the Czech Republic.

10:10 – 10:35 Quantum Physics for Future-Proof Security in Critical Infrastructure: From Quantum Entanglement to Real-World Networks (ENG); Felix Tiefenbacher, Zero/3
Quantum technologies are changing both opportunities and risks. While quantum computing threatens current cryptographic foundations, quantum communication provides countermeasures rooted in the same physics. The presentation will introduce the principles of quantum physics that enable unbreakable communication. Unlike classical or post-quantum cryptography, this protection is resistant to any future advances in mathematics or computing power, quantum or otherwise. It is not just unlikely that such keys could be hacked—it is physically impossible. We will show you how quantum entanglement-based communication has already moved from scientific theory to operational infrastructure. Examples include emerging long-distance and pan-European quantum networks that demonstrate how this technology is being used today to secure governments, businesses, and critical infrastructure and to prepare for a post-quantum future.

10:35 – 11:00 Quantum communication for industry and government, doc. Ing. Leoš Boháč, Ph.D. , FEL ČVUT
The CZQCI project aims to prepare the Czech Republic for the introduction of quantum-secure communication. This lecture will describe the educational and training activities and the newly built quantum communication testing infrastructure in the Czech Republic. The lecture will include information on how companies can use this infrastructure and training system.

11:00 - 11:20  Coffee Break

11:25 – 11:40 Revolution in network infrastructure; Ondřej Oubrecht, NTT DATA
Do you know how next-generation networks will work? OWN (Innovative Optical and Wireless Network) is revolutionizing network infrastructure. What will this new technology bring? Why should we not only know about this technology now, but should we be prepared for the changes that this technology will bring?

11:40 – 12:00 Infrastructure / Datacenter automation in practice (ENG); Adam Tresch, NTT DATA
Adam brings a wealth of hands-on experience from the past 15 years. Transformation of a data center with 12,000 virtual machines into a fully managed and automated data center based on the principle of self-service. Automation of rapid security management to prevent/reduce the impact of DDOS attacks. Challenges associated with deploying a fully managed data center. We will discuss the organization of companies, the level of complexity of their internal processes, and solutions and approaches.

12:00 – 13:00  Lunch break

13:05 – 13:25 Security and observability in one; Leoš Jeřábek, Splunk
Building digital resilience through Splunk's unified security and observability platform, which enables prevention, rapid response, and adaptation to security incidents and operational challenges. Through integration with the Cisco portfolio and the use of AI technologies, we help customers optimize data management, improve visibility across IT environments, and increase the efficiency of security operations.

13:25 – 13:45 AI applications security; Milan Habrcetl, Cisco
AI has become a reality. Many companies are not only using available AI applications, but have also started developing their own AI applications. The question is how to protect such applications from unauthorized use and data theft, and, crucially for AI models, how to protect their LLM from unwanted influence. We will also briefly look at another direction for AI protection: how to prevent employees from using unwanted AI applications.

13:45 – 14:05 Security challenges with the transition to the cloud and why are we so afraid of it?; Karel Ružička NTT DATA
A brief look at the objective and subjective reasons why we are not making the most of the cloud in our region.

14:05 – 14:25 Alert! 47-day validity of TLS certificates will bring new challenges; Jiří Endršt, CyberArk
Confirmed - Starting next year, the validity of TLS certificates used on all websites and web services will be reduced from 398 days to 200 days, and by 2029 it will be further reduced to just 47 days. While this change strengthens security, it also significantly increases the risk of service outages. How to prepare for this situation now?

14:25 – 14:45 Do you know what's being spread about you on the dark web?; Juraj Podhájecký, Check Point
In today's digital world, it's not just about securing systems, it's also about protecting your clients, reputation, and the trust you've built. Get an overview of what is being spread about your organization on the open internet, in the deep and dark web, what is really threatening from the outside and how to prevent misuse of your brand (fake websites, phishing campaigns, fraud on your clients), leakage of sensitive data (timely response before information falls into the wrong hands), reputational risk (protection of the trust of customers and business partners).
14:45 – 15:00 Coffee break

15:00 – 16:30  Deep dive (choose the one you like)
Experience from implementing privileged account management projects; Karel Ružička, NTT DATA
You will learn why PAM implementation is not just an ordinary project and how to avoid repeating mistakes that others have already made: How to start a PAM project and set expectations I PAM is not just about privileged accounts I Who won't like you (who to involve in the project) I What if PAM doesn't work as it should (disaster and emergency procedures) I When is the project "done" (transition to normal operation)

AI Canvas, Assistent; Dominik Soukup, Cisco
We will show you Cisco Systems' first AI network management system for IT across domains - AI Canvas. It is based on AgenticOps and a shared intelligent workspace. It combines real-time telemetry, up-to-date view of the network using AI tools and team collaboration into one application. This is
a new way to more efficiently manage your network in real time and accelerate troubleshooting, including automated recommended remediation actions.
